The Guernsey Flower Centre started out as a small postal flowers business many years ago. Since that time we have developed a large customer base of over 250,000 active customers. At our Guernsey flower nursery we have opened our doors to locals and visitors to see for themselves the planting, picking, bunching and boxing of beautiful fragrant Guernsey freesia flowers. We are able to grow freesia flowers all year round due to the ideal growing conditions (high light levels during the winter months and the long summer days) here on the island of Guernsey.The benefit to the customer is the increase in quality of the postal flowers that are being picked and despatched (the same day). Delivery normally takes 1 - 2 days (to the UK) but a next day Special Delivery service is available for a small charge. Costs are kept down by virtue of being VAT free and prices include postage to the UK. We also send Guernsey carnation flowers by post to the continent and Eire on a Monday or Tuesday using a Swiftair service which again incurs an extra charge. Our postal flowers are packed in a durable box for the journey by post. The flower box also contains a personal message card and flower plant food to aid the life of the Guernsey freesias or carnations. Our Freesias by post or Carnations by post are sent as mixed colour flower bunches. Single colour flowers are available depending on season for weddings or other occasions. Freesias by post and Carnations by post can be sent for various reasons:- Happy Birthday, Birth Congratulations, Anniversaries, Weddings, Mother's Day, Valentines Day, Easter, Christmas, Welcome Home, Get Well Soon, Thinking of You or even just for looking after the cat or dog & the house.We can supply beautiful Guernsey carnations, Guernsey mixed Freesias, Guernsey separate colour freesias, Guernsey standard carnations & Guernsey spray carnations all of which make a lovely floral gift.Guernsey Flower Centre flowers or bouquets by post are despatched Monday to Thursday by first class post. At the Guernsey Flower Centre we specialise in growing Guernsey freesias and send many million stems annually. |
